Dubai Desert Classic Qualifier on Jan 14

DUBAI, November 15 –- The 2007 Dubai Desert Classic qualifying round will be held at the Emirates Golf Club on Sunday, January 14

One top professional and one amateur from this 36-hole qualifier will join an elite field, spearheaded by world number one Tiger Woods, when the European PGA Tour event gets under way at the Majlis course from February 1 to 4.


Dubai Desert Classic tickets go on sale

DUBAI, Nov 7 - World number one Tiger Woods will return to defend his title when the 2007 Dubai Desert Classic, featuring an impressive cast, gets under way at the Emirates Golf Club from February 1 to 4.

The tournament will be preceded by a challenge match on January 30 with six high-profile players, including Woods, lining up for the honours at the new par-3 course of the Emirates Golf Club. The traditional pro-am will be played on Wednesday, January 31.
